Let the Right One In Refund

Dear LET THE RIGHT ONE IN ticket buyer,

On behalf of all the staff and volunteers at Toronto After Dark Film Festival, I would like to sincerely apologize for any difficulties you may have experienced at our opening night screening (Friday, Oct 17). In our three years of existence we have never had an attendance as big as that for LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, where over 1,000 fans showed up to the Bloor Cinema, which only seats 850. We have taken steps to ensure that we are very careful not to over-sell tickets to any events in the future, which seems to have been a unique problem with our festival’s first ever sell-out screening.

If you were one of the fans who bought a ticket to LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, but were unable to collect your ticket or use it to get into the screening on Oct. 17, we would like to offer you a COMPLETE REFUND TO LET THE RIGHT ONE IN. Please note all refunds must be claimed by Saturday, Nov 15, 6PM.

HOW TO COLLECT YOUR REFUND:

If you purchased tickets to LET THE RIGHT ONE IN in advance but never got to collect them physically, you can call Festival Ticketing Box Office by telephone 416-967-1528, MON-SAT, 10AM-6PM, to do the refund over the phone.
If you picked up the physical tickets to LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, but did not get to use them, you will need to do your refund by returning the tickets. You can do this in-person or by mail-in. IN PERSON: Please bring your unripped tickets to Festival Ticketing Box Office, (Open Monday - Saturday, 10am - 6pm), 55 Bloor Street West, (just east of Bay St, inside the Manulife Centre, main floor, North Entrance - Bay Subway Station), Tel: 416-967-1528. MAIL-IN: You can also mail-in your unripped tickets, making sure to include the receipt portion, a return of mail address including the exact name to make any refund cheque payable to. Mail this to: Let the Right One In Refund, Toronto After Dark Film Festival, 3219 Yonge Street, Suite 346, Toronto, Ontario, M4N 3S1, CANADA. Please note any mail-in refund requests, must be post-marked by our deadline of Nov 15.

I hope that this measure goes some way to restoring your faith in Toronto After Dark Film Festival, an event run by film fans for film fans, and that you will still consider attending our festival in future years.
