Synopsis
WHO IS KK DOWNEY? is a one-of-a-kind hilarious cult comedy that skewers the culture of media hype. Terrance and Theo are two young friends who want nothing more than to be famous and popular. The only problem is that their band sucks and nobody wants to print Theo’s unpublished novel, TRUCK STOP HUSTLER, a fictional tale about a one-time drug addict by the name of KK Downey. After they get the book published by pretending it’s an autobiography, KK Downey becomes an overnight media sensation. It’s not long before the duo find themselves having to impersonate the bizarre character of KK at numerous functions with darkly funny and outrageous consequences.
