“Ambitious and original British fantasy filmmaking” – Total Sci-Fi

Synopsis

A stylish and clever sci-fi thriller FRANKLYN marks the auspicious debut of first-time British filmmaker Gerald McMorrow.  Destined to be a cult hit, FRANKLYN is also a real genre-bender, merging several stories on the streets of present day London with a mystery set in a futuristic steampunk world known as Meanwhile City. The film reveals the interconnected fates of both these worlds and four characters that inhabit them: a masked vigilante (CRUEL INTENTIONS’ Ryan Phillippe), a suicidal artist (CASINO ROYALE’s Eva Green), a delusional young man (Sam Riley) and a deeply religious father (Bernard Hill). Stunningly shot, carefully crafted, FRANKLYN is a one-of-a-kind cinematic gem for genre fans.
