“Needs to be seen to be believed. Finally, a romantic comedy for the sick and twisted” – Film Threat
Winner, Audience Choice, Best International Film, Silver - Fantasia Film Festival
Synopsis
MUST LOVE DEATH is quite possibly the ultimate genre-bending film: a bizarrely entertaining mix of brutal survivalist horror (think TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE ) and slushy romantic comedy (think SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE ). When sad sack Norman’s girlfriend dumps him, he decides to end his life by agreeing to be in a snuff video being shot by some sickos in the woods. But before heading to the cabin, Norman has a chance encounter with hopeless romantic Jennifer who seems to be the girl of his dreams. When a misunderstanding leads to a sudden breakup of the two, it’s not long before Norm is all tied up, while Jennifer races against the clock to save him from two of the most psychotic rednecks to ever to hold a blow torch!
