Synopsis

Jet Li arrives at Toronto After Dark with undoubtedly the finest performance of his career in Peter Chan’s sumptuous and brutal WARLORDS. Joined on the marquee by Asian mega-stars Andy Lau and Takeshi Kaneshiro, Li stars as Pang – a disgraced general who led his men to slaughter before being taken in by a gang of petty bandits. With the help of Pang’s military training the trio quickly rise to power within a government desperate for military strength, the power leading the trio down the path to tragedy. No acrobatic kung fu in this one - WARLORDS favors a raw, authentic brutality that has won it acclaim and awards everywhere it has screened throughout Asia.
