“A supergory collision between schoolgirls and the undead” – Fangoria
New York Asian Film Festival - Official Selection
Winner, Audience Choice, Most Energetic Film, Bronze - Fantasia Film Festival
Synopsis
Writer-director-goremeister Yoshihiro Nishimura introduced us to new flesh last year with TOKYO GORE POLICE and he returns to the festival in 2009 with … a high school romantic comedy? You bet, but no typical romantic comedy this one. No, this is a no-holds-barred blood and gore filled to-the-death battle between two high school girls who have claimed the same young man as their true love. Gallons of blood, extreme splatter, an oversexed school nurse, a vice principal turned mad doctor and two of the most insanely politically incorrect after school clubs ever put to film make VAMPIRE GIRL vs. FRANKENSTEIN GIRL the most bizarre and transgressive rom-com ever put to film.
