SCREENING VENUE

ALL Toronto After Dark screenings this year will once again be at the city’s legendary Bloor Cinema, 506 Bloor Street West, (just east of Bathurst Street - Bathurst Subway Station). Tel: 416-516-2331, Google Map here.

FILM & SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENTS (UPDATED DATES)

This year’s Toronto After Dark Film Festival runs August 14-21, 2009 Our first wave of selected films will be announced live at this site on JUL 8. Our second and final wave of films will be announced along with our complete festival schedule here at this site on JULY 29 (NEW DATE). Fans can expect us to operate a very similar schedule to last year’s event, which also ran for eight nights. To get an idea of the likely screening times during this year’s eight nights, we suggest looking at last year’s schedule here.

TICKET & PASS OPTIONS

This year Toronto After Dark offers two main ticket and pass options for fans:

SINGLE TICKETS

Single tickets to all screenings will be available for advance purchase online, by phone or in person, when our Festival Schedule goes live on JULY 29 (NEW DATE). Single Tickets to Regular Screenings will be $12 Standard / $10 Student Price. Opening and Closing Gala Screening Tickets (which include entry to Opening/Closing Night Parties) will be priced at $15 Standard / $13 Student Price. For those who can’t buy in advance, a block of tickets will also be available for purchase at the door, from one hour before screenings during the festival itself (Aug 14—21). However as tickets to a number of screenings last year sold out early, we do recommend fans buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointment, or consider getting an ALL-ACCESS Festival Pass to ensure that they can get into all festival screenings (see below).

FESTIVAL ALL-ACCESS PASS

The Festival ALL-ACCESS Pass is Toronto After Dark’s most popular option for fans wanting to see a bunch of movies at the festival and save huge on ticket prices. At just $119 Standard / $109 Student Price, the ALL-ACCESS Pass gives the added convenience of priority entrance to all 18 festival screenings including Galas and saves fans almost 50% off buying single tickets, adding up to over $100 in savings! Fans can save an additional $20 off the pass price by buying it early, exclusively at our festival website while stocks are available, at the special Earlybird rate of just $99 standard / $89 for students! Whether it’s a treat for yourself or a gift for a friend, be sure to snap up your Festival ALL-ACCESS Pass early as this year Toronto After Dark will issue only 200 passes for sale to the public, and they sell out every year! AGE RESTRICTIONS

We regret that Festival Screenings are Restricted by Ontario Provincial Law to Adults Aged 18 Years And Older. Festival parties and pub nights restricted to 19+.
