Synopsis

There’s something to delight every type of horror fan in the fantastic new anthology film, THE THEATRE BIZARRE featuring seven cutting-edge tales from seven acclaimed filmmakers. A Lovecraftian chiller from Richard Stanley (HARDWARE), a meditation on death by Douglas Buck (CUTTING MOMENTS), a bloody romance from Buddy Giovinazzo (COMBAT SHOCK), S&M horror from SFX maestro Tom Savini, a surrealistic nightmare from Karim Hussein (SUBCONCIOUS CRUELTY), a twisted food fetish story from David Gregory (PLAGUE TOWN) are all presented as part of a creepy wrap-around tale set in an old theatre, directed by Jeremy Kasten (WIZARD OF GORE). Besides breathtaking variety, fans will delight in a terrific cast that includes cult icon Udo Kier, and a sumptuous score co-written by the legendary Simon Boswell (SANTE SANGRE). A one-of-a-kind cinematic treat, wherever THE THEATRE BIZARRE screens fans have fun debating afterwards what their favourite story is. And now for the first time in Toronto, so can you!
