FEATURE FILM Reviews from the 2011 Festival

At Toronto After Dark, we take great pride not to just program top quality independent genre films, but to promote them as widely as possible.

Our last festival, Toronto After Dark 2011, was attended by over over 80 press representatives, ranging in size from large media outlets to fan-based film blogs, ensuring a broad range of coverage for our film lineup. The result was a new record: over 350 published reviews for the 18 feature film selections!  With an average of 20 reviews per movie, our feature filmmakers were delighted with the response as Toronto After Dark 2011 delivered more editorial coverage per film than any other genre film festival world-wide. Scroll on below for an extensive listing of all the feature film reviews, ordered alphabetically by feature film title.

We’d like to thank the Local, National and Global Film Press community for covering our event so extensively this year, and helping so many talented independent filmmakers gain much-needed exposure for their work.  If we’re missing a review from our 2011 festival, please contact us here with the link, so we can add it in.  Note: we also have compiled a page of reviews of the festival’s short films here.
