Toronto After Dark Film Festival’s much anticipated 2012 Call for Entries will be officially announced imminently! If you’re a filmmaker and interested in submitting a short or feature film to our festival this year, make sure you’ve signed up to get notified here!

Otherwise filmmakers can also submit their films using the festival’s Direct Entry Form, which will be live on our site shortly.

2011 Fest Wraps Up with Record Crowds and Reviews, Big Win for FATHER’S DAY!

NOVEMBER 4, 2011: That’s A Wrap! Toronto After Dark Film Festival 2011 wrapped up 8 thrilling nights of new Horror, Sci-Fi, Action and Cult movies last week blazing new cinematic trails and setting new records! Attendance at Toronto After Dark hit a new high, with over 10,000 enthusiastic fans participating in this year’s festival which ran Oct 20-27, 2011 at a new venue, the Toronto Underground Cinema, standing in for the festival’s traditional venue, the historic Bloor Cinema undergoing renovations.

Highlights of Toronto After Dark’s 6th Annual Edition, included the sell-out opening gala screening of MONSTER BRAWL, featuring a rousing on-stage intro from wrestlemania icon Jimmy Hart and the towering figure of Robert Maillet (SHERLOCK HOMES, 300), the ever-popular Toronto Zombie Walk which resulted in hordes of the walking dead taking over the cinema as part of our annual Zombie Appreciation Night, fan-favourite actors Michael Biehn (THE TERMINATOR, ALIENS) and Milo Ventimiglia (HEROES) in attendance for a sell-out screening of their latest movie, Xavier Gen’s dark post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller THE DIVIDE, a record Three World Premieres including the cult-action horror hit FATHER’S DAY, and a spooktacular ending to the fest with the Closing Gala screening of the acclaimed new supernatural film, THE INNKEEPERS with director Ti West (HOUSE OF THE DEVIL) in attendance!
