SYNOPSIS
In 2011, found footage horror film GRAVE ENCOUNTERS about a ghost hunting TV crew being haunted to their apparent deaths during one night spent in an abandoned mental institute became a hit both on the internet, where the trailer racked up over 20 million views, and the festival circuit, where the film scared up a storm at the Tribeca Film Festival.
In this even scarier sequel, Alex, a young film student obsessed with the story of the missing TV crew, starts getting tips from an anonymous online source known only as “Death Awaits 666”. It seems that one of the crew may still be alive, but trapped in the building. Alex persuades a group of his friends to help him break into the institute at night, and record everything they encounter on camera. But the supernatural forces that inhabit the asylum clearly have their own sinister plans for the filmmakers. A scary treat, GRAVE ENCOUNTERS 2 makes highly inventive use of camera setups and delivers a double dose of terror!
