SYNOPSIS
Firemen apathetically ignore a fire, an alarm clock reads 7:60 AM, a pine-tree becomes a palm-tree, and sad sap Dolph Springer is unable to find his dog Paul – something is wrong here, and it’s about to get a whole lot wrong-er. But WRONG comes to us from Quentin Depieux, the same filmmaker who made RUBBER, a brilliant post-modern parable about psychic killer tires and the philosophy of “no reason” that left audiences (including Toronto After Dark’s) hysterically delirious with its absurd surrealist satire back in 2010. And so, (deep breath) if Dolph Springer has any chance of getting his dog back, he should expect to navigate a series of increasingly silly vignettes (some concerning indoor rainstorms and canine telepathy), meet a terrific ensemble cast including gut-busting performances from Steve Little (EASTBOUND AND DOWN) and the immortal character actor William Fichtner (DRIVE ANGRY), and know that his adventure will (and does) amount to one the funniest films of the year. To expect anything less would be… well… WRONG.
