It’s Finally Here! After a year of anticipation, the 8th Annual Toronto After Dark Film Festival is finally here, with 20 Amazing New Horror, Sci-Fi, Action and Cult film screenings this Oct 17-25! So join us at Scotiabank Theatre, 259 Richmond Street West, in the heart of downtown Toronto, over the coming nine thrilling nights. Here’s a quick HOW-TO-FEST:

STEP 2: BUY YOUR TICKETS: Unless sold out, tickets are available in advance right up until screening start times at $13 General, $12 Student, Just $10 Each for Multipack Savers (buy two or more films together online). Toronto After Dark Film Festival is thrilled to announce today a new partnership with Cineplex Entertainment, Canada’s leading film exhibitor. For its 8th Annual edition, which runs this October 17-25, 2013, Toronto After Dark will screen all its films at the Scotiabank Theatre, in the heart of downtown Toronto. In addition to the convenience of the festival’s new central location, attendees can look forward to a huge new benefit in the ability to earn SCENE movie reward points on every festival ticket and pass purchase. Toronto After Dark’s 2013 Call for Film Entries final deadline has now passed, and we would like to thank over 700 filmmakers from around the world who chose to submit their works for programming consideration by our festival this year. All films are now being reviewed. If you submitted a film to Toronto After Dark 2013 and waiting for an update from us, or are interested in submitting to our event next year, please check our Submissions Page for key info. UPDATE: All titles will be announced by the end of September, 2013.

Our film festival welcomes submissions of all forms of international and independent thrilling cinema including horror, sci-fi, fantasy, animation, crime, action, cult and documentary films, both in short form and feature-length. The final deadline for this year’s entries is FRI, JUNE 7 (submissions accepted until 11.59pm PST) with an Extended Final Deadline, exclusive to users of Withoutabox of FRI, JUNE 21. To save on submission fees, filmmakers are strongly encouraged to submit their films early in time for either our Early Deadline of FRI, APRIL 12 or Regular Deadline of FRi, MAY 10.
