Included below is a brief summary of all 20 screenings taking place over 9 thrilling nights, this Oct 16-24 at the Scotiabank Theatre, 259 Richmond St. West, Toronto. With some great movie pairings, fans can look forward some fun cinematically themed nights this year including Zombie Night, Werewolf Night, Sci-fi Night, and Post-Apocalyptic Night!

Individual Screening Tickets are now on sale priced at $13 General, $11 in Multipack if purchase Two or more films in the same shopping cart online. Our tickets are sold through Cineplex, so you can earn SCENE Reward points on their purchase!  But Hurry: as we expect to have a number of sell-out screenings at the fest this year, if you are interested in buying tix to any film, please don’t delay but scroll down and click on the Buy Tickets buttons below any of the screening descriptions below. 

You can also buy tickets in person at the venue from regular ticket counters, from approximately 12.30pm daily

If a film is listed as Sold Out in advance below, you can also try for tickets in person by joining the Rush Line at the venue which will form from 1 hour before the screening starts. After an empty seat count, a few mins before the show, any spare tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis to those waiting in the Rush Line!

WEREWOLF NIGHT!



7.00 PM WOLVES (CANADA/USA)
An action-packed coming of age werewolf tale from David Hayter (writer of X-MEN, X-MEN 2) pitting Lucas Till (X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST) against Jason Momoa (GAME OF THRONES).  Director Hayter, also known as the voice of Snake in the best-selling Metal Gear Solid game series, will be in attendance for a lively Q&A with fans at this special North American Premiere Screening!

In the vein of THE ROAD and THE WALKING DEAD, one family fights to survive in a post-apocalyptic countryside, filled with killer roaming gangs of scavengers.

7.00 PM THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN (USA)
Acclaimed AMERICAN HORROR STORY director Alfonso Gomez-Rejon delivers a stylish, clever reinvention of the 1976 horror cult classic of the same name about a masked serial killer terrorizing the town of Texarkana. The fantastic cast includes fan favourites Gary Cole (OFFICE SPACE), Denis O’Hare (AMERICAN HORROR STORY) and Veronica Cartwright (ALIEN).

FRIDAY, OCT 24 - CLOSING NIGHT!



7.00 PM LET US PREY (UK/IRELAND)
In this supernatural spin on John Carpenter’s cult classic ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13, after a menacing stranger (GAME OF THRONES’ Liam Cunningham) shows up in the middle of the night at an isolated Scottish police station, all hell begins to break loose. It’s up to a newly enlisted female officer (Pollyanna McIntosh from THE WOMAN) to try to stem the widening outbreaks of violence from both fellow police officers and criminals in the holding cells and stop the dark forces that are at work.
